After 15 cruises on P&O, X, MSC & Royal Caribbean we decided to try a Cunard cruise. We have found PO standards have degraded in the last 2 years and 3 cruises. We started our Cunard experience on a short cruise to Amsterdam and were really pleased with the experience and so glad we tried them. Will definitely be up there on the list of preferred cruise lines going forward.

Queen Victoria reminded me of Oceania my first cruise with P&O

Arrivals was spot on, nice welcome from all staff, room was ready, bags put into the room for us, nice touches in the room. Staff were always very attentive and you could tell there was a much better ratio of staff to passengers.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Standard balcony, we were upgraded 1 level before embarkation to a rear cabin on deck 8 (8165) great position did hear a bit of movement above on the deck but nothing bad. Liked being close to buffet

The room needs a bit of tlc in places but nothing serious, the soft furnishings were very good and bed very comfy.

Nice to have slippers and robes. Lovely soft towels and face cloths.

Lots of hanging space.

Good quality toiletries, with liquid soap, shampoo and shower gel. Did have to buy some conditioner, so will take that next time.

Arrived to a half bottle of fizz in the fridge which was a nice touch.

Great service by the room attendant, morning and night. Friendly and available.
