Our first cruise and we were looking forward to a brilliant experience.. I had watched a couple of YouTube videos and regretted watching them AFTER we'd booked the cruise but being optimistic I hoped for the best. To be fair, and coming from England where everything is run down and broken, the appearance of the ship wasn't too bad. . The problem was the quality of the "extras" and how Royal Caribbean tried to rip you off/overcharge at EVERY opportunity.
The APP. . Basically was useless with different info depending on if you used an iPhone or Android. totally contradictory info regarding important stuff like ramp up time. . One page said 4.30, the other said 6.30.. USELESS
Towels. . Came across people that weren't told about the extortionate non-return fee of $25 , then when you did try to return it the towel station would be shut.
