That’s the sound of our hopes and dreams crashing…we had anticipated this trip for several years. Regents promises (taken from its website” exquisite meals, refined service and exhilarating shore excursions” but we found it was anything but.

The rooms in the boat are very nice, but that’s where the luxury stops. The food was not up to standard and the tours were not well thought out; it doesn’t feel like an experienced travel expert planned these out. (We’ve found this on 2 of Norwegian Cruise Line products now; Oceania and Regent). Our experiences on both of these cruise lines was nothing like the “exhilarating shore excursions” that are promised. Here is what we experienced:

• Most tour guides say a few words of introduction then sat down the rest of the time. We feel that we learned very little about the cities we visited.

Cabin Review

The room was very nice and larger than most; however, we had a concierge level so I didn't see the other rooms.
