We chose this cruise as we enjoyed a Translantic 10 year ago, and wanted to see Ireland, Newfoundland, and Saint Pierre.

The ship was beautiful. Food still as good as always (except was disappointed with Embers, wish they change it to Jaques),

Service was excellent with the room stewards, however in the food venues it was slow responses.

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

The layout was good. They have reduced slightly the storage in the room, but have more than tripled the storage in the bathroom.

Only complaint is the space between the bottom of the bed and the TV cause both me and partner to occassionally bump into the TV.

Port Reviews

Southampton

We boarded Vista in Southhampton after a short visit to a local Costco to purchase a 6 bottle wine collection and 1 40 0z bottle of vodka for our 18 day cruise.

Paris

Did Juno beach, with great lunch (included with excursion) in nearby town. Soaked the history in and had a cry at the cemetary. Tour guide was excellent.

Saint-Malo

absolutely beautiful enclosed city/town. Unfortunately the guide we had was absolutely terrible. We did inform the expedtions desk on our return. He even lost about a 1/3 of our tour group for 20 minutes as he just kept walking at a very brisk rate, talking ahead, instead of turning around and waiting for everyone to catch up.

Torbay

An Anchor port, we took a boat tour. Interesting place with unique architecture.

Belfast

Did a food tour in Belfast. Food and Irish Coffees were great.

Dublin

Bus tour of the highlights, followed by tavern for guinness. Was worth what we paid for the excursion

Killybegs

Bus tour of a lot of the countryside. lunch stop at a recreated historical town that everyone enjoyed.

St. John's (Newfoundland)

Always want to visit NFLD. The tour guide and bus ride and visiting the most easterly part of Canada added to the historical value the tour seemed to provide.
