We left from Malaga on our 7 day cruise, the embarkation process was a bit hectic, but it flowed nonetheless. There is no parking at the port so it is necessary to park off site if you drove in, which we did. Use Red parking it was quite affordable and they offer a shuttle to the pier, pick up, and a car washing service that is included.

This cruise was mostly bilingual due to the large amounts of Spaniards on board. Food in the main dining room was consistently good, our waiter was excellent, and had a great sense of humor. The service was outstanding from all the staff, so long as your not rude to them.

We opted out of doing the tours, and just would putz about the towns and see our own things. We caught the train into Rome, jumped on a double decker bus for 15 euro and hopped on and off as we wanted to. Its tough to fit in a bunch of things so better to just pick a couple. There is a great gelato place along the walk back to the train station.

Oceanview Stateroom

Having a handicap stateroom was a bonus, it was bigger especially the shower.
