My wife and I have always loved the "small ship" experience, and have no need to be entertained, so this was a perfect fit for us. BUT, if you need nightly entertainment, want to dine alone at a table, don't like international crowds, (I would say 60% of the passangers NOT from the USA) or are prone to seasickness, this is NOT the cruise for you. If you remember that this is first and formost a working SAILING ship you will be happy.

For us, this particular voyage was perfect. Small islands, small ports, sunny skys, and calm waters. This was a "back to back" cruise, so we visited 12 ports in 15 days, hitting islands in Greece, Turkey, Italy and finishing in Malta. Being the "end of the season" we were the only ship in port every day, which meant few crowds and a very plesent experience. One thing to note is that with one exception, we anchored in every port, which meant tendering in. (NOT a pleasent expereince if you have any mobility issues)

Food was spectacular (Although the menu pretty much repeated the second week) Just be aware that it tends to cater to the european tastes, and that every table is set for eight, so you WILL get to know your fellow passangers.

Cabin Review

Small, but clean. LITTLE room for your suitcases, (So don't pack heavy) Bathrooms are TINY. (Shower/toilet/sink are all in one 5 x 5 area) Room was set with one bed, but if asked (repeatedly) the crew can seperate into 2 twins.
