My wife and I like to cruise. We have been on a few with Royal Caribbean and with our kids on Disney. We have always had a great time and were looking for a fun get-a-way for us. We were planning to go on a "Freedom" class ship like we did last year. My parents took a Celebrity cruise and were impressed. We did our research and decided on the Solstice.

The second you walk on board, you are greeted with class. The wine was a nice touch. We found the people to be very polite and willing to answer any questions that we had about the ship. The process of getting from the airport to the cruise terminal was the easiest we have ever had. We walked right up and were on the boat within 30 minutes of landing. Talk about easy!

The ship is stunning. Our room was Aqua Class and well worth the upgrade. From the teas to the bottles of water let by our stateroom attendant, it was class from the start. The towels, sheets and pillows were wonderful. The best part of the room was the bathroom. The shower was big and the upgraded shower heads were a really nice touch. You will find little things like this that make you feel like your are living the high life.

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

Aqua Class is outstanding. The bed is great. The closets are nice and there is plenty of space to hang things up. The drawers were fine too. The bathroom is outstanding. Shower was awesome.
