This cruise departed out of San Diego which made it really nice for us. We up graded to a suite and it was excellent. The itinerary was not very exciting but we were looking for a laid back cruise. This was our third expedition cruise with Silver Sea and they lived up to their high standards. The ship itself was very nice and the staff was outstanding. Our butler did a great job and went above and beyond to make our trip a success. Food on board was very good and selection excellent. Another bonus was that this cruise was very lightly booked as we only had 85 passengers.

The only draw back was the TV system was not working so we had no way to find out what was happening around the world. Also there is very limited entertainment so the nights can be a little boring.

The transpiration to and from the ship was an extra bonus as was having an all inclusive hotel at the end of the cruise. So my only recommendations for Silver Sea would be to get the TV system working, upgrade the WIFI package, and have a little more to do at night. But other than that, this was an excellent cruise on an top of the line cruise line.

Cabin Review

Cabin was excellent with a huge baloney. We upgraded to a Medallion suit and it was worth every penny.
