We have cruised over 20 times with P&O but this ship was a poor experience for us. The ship itself is very nice, but as far as we are concerned thats where it ends!!. The ship is very large and impersonal, unlike the other ships it just does not flow. Once onboard we had to download the holiday app in order to book shows etc, however that was a complete farce because as soon as we tried to book shows & speciality restaurants most were already showing as being fully booked.!! Apparently you need to book all of this about 2 weeks prior to boarding!!! We never travel during school holidays & usually P&O identify school holiday cruises, but not this time. Unfortunately it was Scotlands school holidays, consequently lots of children of all ages as well as the many push chairs. A ships lift will accomodate 1 very large push chair (which seems to be the norm) plusabout 2 adults & 4 children.New ship -small lifts!! We later found out that as some children travel free quite a few couples were hosting their friends children as well as their own !! We now have 1lift,1 very large pushchair, 5 children,Lift full !!, now expect a long wait for a lift to appear.

The swimming pools onboard a very small compared to other P&O ships. Theatre shows by Headliners are the same for 2 cosecutive nights, there were only 4 different shows by headliners company during our cruise.

Standards have definitely dropped on this ship. we never saw any of the ship's officers about the ship during the day. BUT in the evening large gathering of them could been seen in the speciality restaurants thereby preventing guests from booking tables.

Cabin Review

Cabin was smaller than on other P&O ships. However it was well serviced by iur cabin stewaress whilst we were at breakfast each day. No drawers in cabin, only shelves located in wardrobe. Bathroom was good BUT no 2pin socket for electric razors.
