Traveled with children

Just got back from a 2 week trip. Overall experience was great. Few bad points worth mentioning but nothing that would change our minds to do another trip with this company.

The bad: the excursion desk doesn’t have themselves together. We got an excursion ticket they had a different title than what we paid for. Once on the bus we were told the itinerary. Half the bus was ready to riot as we were all told the same thing about the name being different but the tour was the same. It wasn’t. To the credit of the tour guide he rearranged thing s and did the tour we were slated for but it was ugly. Further we have a 12 year old who were quoted as an adult even though the child was to 12. This could be a language issue but the documentation should have said up to 12th birthday as in English x-12 means up to the 13th birthday. We paid but we’re annoyed by it.

The good: Ship was clean neat and tidy. After reading reviews we were convinced the journey was a mess but it was fine. Not high end luxury but certainly not beat or in need of being scrapped. Don’t expect a 2024 refurbished ship of the line but it was totally fine and in par with other US cruises we have taken. (About 20 years of cruising in large and. Small ships off the us East coast.)
