Marina Review

Our cruise was from Venice to Rome. We especially enjoyed the wide variety of shore excursions offered and all of the guides we had were knowledgeable and interesting.

We have always wanted to go on a Mediterranean cruise as our first trip to Europe. When we were looking online for some ideas we were impressed with the variety of routes that Oceania offers. The cruise line itself was recommended by friends who have cruised Oceania several times. They and we were pleased with the quality of the food (it lived up to my high expectations). Our housekeeping persons (Joycee and her colleague) were very attentive.

All of the staff on the ship were patient with our endless questions and were always ready to help with anything we needed. We really liked how performers from the show were around the ship and how knowledgeable all of the staff were. One of the perks of the concierge level that was perfect for us was the private deck at the front of the ship. It was quiet and yet we still felt part of the ship. Is there any chance of getting drink service up there (for a few hours in the afternoon maybe?)

We enjoyed the cruise so much that we used the pre-booking service on board to put a deposit down on our next one, maybe a Panama Canal cruise.

Cabin Review

Concierge Level

Our cabin was surprising large and very well located. I especially loved the balcony. it was definitely worth the extra cost. I was able to sit out there every day and it help on the sea day when I was not feeling so well.
