I chose the 21 Odyssey because our favorite line didn't go to Gibraltar. This and Turkey was new to me. Some of the port calls are too short, by the time you bus to where you're going and back it eats up most of the stop. Like Kotor, Montenegro. Our tour was to Budva, historic Kotor, St. Tryphon and the Maritime Museum. By the time we got back from Budva, we had 45 minutes for the remaining three parts. Definitely not enough. Plus there was a long line for the tender to deal with, which eats into the time as well. Also there could have been more personnel ashore to assist as well. In Mykonos, we were unaware of the water taxi which costs four Euro and were sold a bus ticket for $10. and then no one to tell us where the bus was. In Istanbul, we were told which way to go through the new huge passenger terminal, but when we got inside the verbiage on the signs was different and there was no one to tell us where to go. Santorina was pretty bad this time, since there's only three ways down from Fira - donkey ride, walk the 588 steps covered in poop and slippery, or take the cable car up and down. We had a 50 minute wait to go up, tolerable. BUT. To go back down, since many tours dump tourists in Fira with a ticket to the cable car and there were three ships in port, it took two hours wait in the hot sun to take the cable car. Fights were breaking out because some people have no couth and were cutting in line. some people walking the steps down got hurt. Tours should off the option of the bus back to the old port so you can boat back from there. It was pretty bad and leaves a bad impression of Santorini. I think the tours were pricey for what we got, sometimes tromping around narrow city streets with 40 other people watching your step because the old pavements are dangerous, so I couldn't really look at anything because we were hustling along. The best ones we did were to family wineries and the island of Ischia, these were relaxing and interesting. The worst was Genoa. The one to Mt. Etna didn't actually go to Mt. Etna, just near it. Princess could do a better job of describing what to expect on their tours too. If it's all walking and a bus ride, say so. If there's lots of steps, say so.

The ship was nice, but there are no quiet inside seating areas with a view. If you like a lot of noise and loud music this is the ship for you. We will not do it again, however. Staff was good, some of the bartenders were very nice and funny. The system to get a soft drink with dinner at the Buffet (World Fresh Marketplace) is you place your order, it spits out at the bar and then your waiter will go get it whenever. You may, or you may not, get your glass of soda before you're done with your meal. It was about 50/50, but annoying when we had to ask twice or go get it ourselves.
