New ship. Ports of call. Just another cruise line trying to recover from Covid pandemic. Room was nice. Room serviced well. Ship was clean. Restaurant was nice, but plain. No theme to it. Food was below average overall. Could have been much better.

Buffets were very crowded, to the point of annoying. Too many children, but that was ok. No deck to walk all around on outside like most cruise liners have.

Had problems of being left in the middle of nowhere on my first shore excursion. 30 miles from the ship. Emergency phone number was contacted. Said they would call back. Never did. Was very lucky to get back to the ship through an Act of God. Asked for a refund, and after a second request, got 20 % back. Wanted a full refund. Tour guide must go back to Tour Guide School. You don't leave you guests behind unless they are dead, or in a hospital. During my next 4 ship sponsored land tours was reminded to be at our meeting place quite a bit. In Malta, the Tour guide actually said she would leave you behind if you were late.

Cabin Review

It was fine. Short on draw and closet space. Bed was comfortable.

Port Reviews

Naples

Went to Sorrento. Shopping trip for wife.

Been there before.

Taormina (Messina)

Guide was great, City Tour. Churches etc. Went north to resort area. Should have gone south, or to Etna.

Malta (Valletta)

This was supposed to be a island tour, not a city tour. Tour Guide talked to the point

of being rude. Poor description of proposed tour.
