I am John and my wife, Eve, took this cruise after spending a day touring London. The drive to the port from our London hotel was 2 hours away. NCL wanted everyone on board by 2 pm, so we knew it would be tight. We were making good time until we got off and hit Southampton local traffic, then everything turned to a crawl. Later, we found that there was a boat show going on at the port.

We barely made it for 2 pm. Once there, there were few people and no real directives of where to go. Finally, we saw a pile of passenger bags getting loaded onto the ship so we added ours and proceeded to the boarding area.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Our balcony cabin was nice, about what we have become used to on NCL cruises. It's a bummer that there are no longer two visits to the cabin by the steward (make up and turn down).
