This is not the first time we have been on the Virtuosa but will definatly be the last. The last cruise was so bad that were were given a discount on a further cruise. Wish we hadnt gone back on. First we caught gastroenterities - norovirus on board, then were treated like dirt by guest relations etc.Had to be put in isolation for over half our cruise. We had to stay on the ship from the start to the end as couldnt get off due to illness. We had to argue to get our excursion money refunded and our Speciality dining pre paid package. We wernt able to use our drinks package for days. They gave us 2 on board credits and then took one of them back. We had to argue to get this back. We needed to get off the ship early on the last day due to personal reasons and explained this to customer service. They gave us the latest time slot. We were told not to worry our bags would be downstairs if we got off early. One of us needs wheelchair assistance and we were told this would not be a problem. On the disembarkation the man who was dealing with this refused to wheel me off before the allocated time and turned his back on my husband and walked a way while my husband was talking to him. My Husband called to him as this was rude. The man turned round , shrugged his shoulders then walked away again. We had to walk off our selves unaided an in a lot of pain. The luggage was not downstairs and 2 cases were misplaced. They had just dumped cases anywhere. Finally someone helped find our cases but this was after over an hour of looking. The only good thing was the cabin steward and room service was very good bringing all our meals for 8 days.

Cabin Review

Very clean and tidy. Wardrobes very small, not enough space.
