Way over priced for quality of cruise experience. The main cruise director was at best annoying, at worst rude, impatient, unsympathetic. We were specifically told lunch would be offered to accommodate a late excursion only to find the DR closed. Fortunately, we were in port and could walk into a local restaurant that day. Daily excursions are listed as being included in the cruise fare but some ports did not offer a free option. We did not have the option of two excursions a day like the parent company ACL offers. Food was good, well prepared, good variety, great service by waiters. My request for gluten free foods was accommodated. Room steward was good.

We were told the ship is at the mercy of the various ports as for excursion choices, pricing, and transportation. Some days we were on school buses.

We compared this experience to ACL’s Columbia River cruise last year and the Danube river cruise with Avalon.

Cabin Review

Cabin size fairly standard with plenty of storage but the beds are one inch too short for sliding luggage underneath.
