I am posting my comments about the NCL Ireland cruise we took from 9/23 - 10/3. This post is for people who have not yet taken this cruise so they can see all of the issues we encountered and hopefully they will reconsider.

- Three ports (all tenders) were canceled due to a bad storm going through Ireland. The captain said he canceled the ports because of safety concerns. But he should have known about the storm well before we departed Southampton. Why did he initially try and take the storm on? We had a couple of very rocky days at sea until he settled the ship in the North Atlantic. Another cruise line that was supposed to go the same direction rerouted to Belgium. The captain said that the waves would be up to 18 feet high - not something he should have subjected us to. If he really cared about our safety he would not have taken the storm on at all.

- The minimal number of tenders used in Dublin (and would have been used in the three ports that were canceled) was ridiculous. People reported waiting up to 2 hours in line to get back to the ship. Why weren't more tenders used?
