Diamond Plus Crown & Anchor members: My wife & I gave the Wonder of the Seas another try after a disappointing experience last November out of Port Canaveral on its inaugural cruise. Embarkation was much better, but they did not care about your scheduled time and parking could be a problem if not there before noon. The cabin attendant did not do as good a job as we have experience in the past. Maybe because he now has 20 cabins to clean. Our Central Park balcony was a disappointment, because it was very noisy at 8:30 in the morning do to a loud speaker used for a deck 15 aquatic work out. We were having morning coffee, everybody sitting on their balcony went inside. We complained but it happened again on the next sea day. Food choices and quality in the main dining room is not as good as in the past. Windjammer was okay. Specialty restaurants (Hooked, Chops & 150 Central Park) were very good. Hooked advertises Maine lobster but it was Florida lobster (1.3 lbs.). Last Wonder cruise it was a 2lb. Maine lobster. Service was excellent in all the restaurants. Johnny Rockets was a big disappointment for breakfast. Bad food and long waits. An increase in cruisers, but not an increase in dining space or help. There is plenty of good entertainment on board, but it seems to be leaning more to the younger crowd and families than in the past. Disembarking was good, but you will always have trouble getting an elevator. The price for the same cabin and cruise has increased substantially like everything else, but not the quality of food.
