We really enjoyed our cruise, the destination was fantastic, we enjoyed all the Ports. Alaska was very pretty and absolutely fascinating. The ship was lovely and well looked after with many good communal areas. We had a Vista Suite which we were very happy with; good sized room and balcony and very comfortable. The experience in the main dining room was very positive; very good food and choice as well as excellent service. The dining experience in the Lido was not so good. There are not enough tables and they are too cramped it, then because there are queues for many of the serving stations it all feels very claustrophobic and chaotic. The food was ok once you found what you were looking for, but it could take some time as you may have to queue at more than one serving station. The theatre is great but the music and entertainment are not as good as other cruise lines, clearly not a priority. The worst experience on the cruise was the embarkation. The checking in process seemed quite slick but then we were moved around waiting rooms before we could board, not sure why. If the ship wasn’t ready then why not start the checking in process a bit later? In contrast disembarkation was very slick.
