Birthday cruise for my nephew. Alighting and deboarding processes were really efficient. Housekeeping was excellent. Very clean around the ship. The safety checkin was a fiasco because our muster area was blocked by maintenance crews grinding and soldering beams (was the ship broken??). Great food. Drink and coffee bar hosts were spectaclar. Cruise Director rather hokey. Pools crowded and noisy (typical Carnival). Always long lines at the buffet and "fast food" stations. The specialty steak house had great food, but terrible service. Also, their "view" by the windows looked out to the smoking area where barely dressed (NPI) passengers unaware we, on the other side of tinted glass, were seated three feet away and could see them "adjusting" theirswimsuits or bending over to expose their butts. Spa was OK, but the personal training session was a joke and a complete bust. Nightly Shows: very OVER-Amplifed. Ouch; glad I had earplugs. Singers were consistently flat and uninspiring, but the choeography and costuming were great. The last night of the cruise show had a downer theme - what a terrible way to end the cruise. You get what you pay for.

Cabin Review

Premium Vista Balcony

Aft cabin with wrap-around balcony. GREAT! A bit small of a cabin, but the balcony really made up for it! Neghbors on the balcony nextdoor had a wireless boombox we twice asked them to turn down.
