We had done the Rine a couple years ago and wanted to do a Danube as we were so impressed with it. Only issue was locating our Viking representative at the airport on Budapest, after finding him he took excellent care to lead us through getting our flight. The driver from the ship to airport just sort of dumped us and left. No communication!
The food and food service was excellent as we have come to expect on Viking. We enjoyed the staff in the bar.
We had a miss communication when we booked the trip. We were told the upgrade we took included Silver Spirts only to find out on board it wasn't included. We were not to only people that it was told the same thing, I talked to two other people that were told this. When we talked to Viking after our cruise we were told we miss understood it. Neither of us really drink but it was upsetting to be told that after others were under the same assumptions. My thinking is it was a miscommunication by the the sales reps at Viking. I our booking of the upgrade we wrote down every item that was included, it's our fault for note reviewing the final documents.
