We chose the River cruise because it only had 158 passengers and the flights were included and was much more affordable overall compared to the other River cruise lines.

On arrival at Budapest airport we were held up in immigration for an hour but the rep was waiting for us when we got through, we were the last to show up and everyone was waiting on the bus for us. It was a huge relief.

The embarkation process was very easy. We just walked onboard the ship to reception and handed in our passports. We were given our room keys and went straight to our cabin. We purchased duty free liquor at the airport and it was not a problem bringing it on. Read more
