We chose this cruise very long ago ,and then, covid! So it was rescheduled and changed some ports a few times. We were excited about the ports, we had not been to any of them. We made plans to stay in Amsterdam for a week before boarding. We were ready to cruise when we boarded.

Boarding was ok. Since we have 4 stars we got sent through right away when we arrived at the pier, in time for the Mariners' Lunch. By a happy coincidence we were seated next to fellow CCers Roxy Rocks, and we quickly made plans for trivia.

Since the cruise was round trip Amsterdam many of our fellow cruisers were Dutch. I am wondering if a lot of them were booked 3-4 to a cabin, because the ship was very crowded. We ate in the dining room the first night. Since we got there early we were seated right away, but it quickly became quite crowded.

Port Reviews

Love Iceland, but there is not a whole lot to do at this port.
