So many things were wrong with this cruise!

First and foremost, the reception desk girls were rude. When I asked a question I would mostly get one word answers. Eg. “Do you have a lost and found?” They answered “Here”. I had to prod her for more specific answers. Courtesy such as “How may I help you” or “What are you looking for?” was non-existent. Another time we asked for help to locate a Taxi. She rudely responded with an attitude, “We don’t provide that service”. Fortunately the onboard concierge, overheard us and ran down the gangplank and was able to talk with the ground security and get us a Taxi. The following day, I approached her to get her name and she had removed her nametag. I’m assuming she did this because of numerous complaints (as there were many) and was told she was going “incognito” that day.

We should have been given a 100% refund for a horrible Tour we booked through the ship, not the 50% that was offered!!!! We purchased the ALM-008 tour in Almeria. When we purchase Tours provided by a Cruise line we expect the guide to speak English & walk with us to point out highlights and history. This Tour Guide barely spoke ANY English, dropped us off in a Village which was closed up tighter than a virgin then disappeared until it was time to leave. She didn’t even tell us where the bathrooms were! Usually the guide will take you through the town and explain the history, but that never happened! Apparently it was a Holiday, which she should have known as she lived on the Island. We continued on to AguaDulce where she stated that she lived in this town and “Promised” the shops would be open. Once Again she dropped us off and lo and behold only 2 shops were open, one being a pharmacy. She claimed at first that it was siesta time, but when we called her on it she admitted it was a Holiday. If it wasn’t for one of the passengers who spoke perfect Spanish we would not have known what was going on! There was another bus that took this particular tour and I know for a fact they filed complaints as well.
