I selected this cruise since it cruised the Hawaiian Islands before setting sail to Alaska. The ship itself is beautiful after its major renovation, we were reluctant at first to select the cabin ocean view right at the front of the ship it was greater than I thought the view of the bow, the rain on the window at night was very nice. We have been to Alaska quite a few times and enjoyed it once again. The stadium seating in the aft of the spirit is very nice and the compact design was something we really like on the smaller NCL ships. The Spinnaker lounge at the front of the ship has great views with floor to ceiling windows. I definitely give an A+ to the staff and ship itself.one other note I was a little nervous sailing from Hilo to Icy Strait in April but the weather was cool but not stormy

Nice port not much to do here unless you venture beyond the port area.
