The Emerald Princess is a roomy ship with plenty of outdoor space. I was most impressed with all of the staff. Shows were great. I did notice some cutbacks in the choices of food in the MDR. Overall, it was a great trip. Plenty of daily actives and enjoyed the pool at the back of the ship. Our third trip on the Emerald, we had never gone thru the Panama Canal or been to the ports of Huatulco, Puntarenas, Cartagena or Fuerte Amador. Weather could not have been any better. Our cabin was well maintained and a very comfortable bed. Princess has an older crowd but that was not a problem. The buffet was open a lot for snacks and meals if you so choose to dine there. Pizza and ice cream at the pool area was also a hit, along with the burgers and fries. Overall, it was a great trip.
