I cannot tell how excited my family was for this cruise! With the exception of a few, my concierge John, our wait staff (Amazing) and the ladies who did our nails and the manager of the spa...Everyone else seemed like they were being held captive! I kept asking "how long have you been on"? It was insane! The activities director Sucked! Seriously, my daughter is 31 and she was bored out of her mind! I had to keep apologizing to her! It wasn't the fun ship I was used to seeing. The captain was nice but it didn't make up for the sadness that seemed to be lingering. Did I say there were absolutely no shows! No dancing shows, no murder mystery shows, just comedy and deal or no deal. It's like they didn't think mature people needed anything special to do. Oh and the chef should be fired! The food was terrible, not up to Carnival standards at all. We do plan on going back to Alaska because we did enjoy that, but we won't be sailing on Carnival there again.
