In 18 years of cruising this was the worst cabin location we have ever encountered. Aqua cabins are located immediately below the Sauna/Solarium which entails being woken at 7 am each morning by furniture, etc being dragged across the deck above. In addition the balconies on these cabins are entirely devoid of direct sunshine due to the very ugly and huge overhang of the deck above.

We have always viewed Celebrity as a cut above the opposition, providing a sophisticated, quality product. No longer however. Our experience this time has brought to a close our cruising journey as we feel that, along with the rest of the trade, Celebrity have decided to chase numbers at the expense of quality. The only, and I mean only, saving grace is Blu, the Aqua class restaurant. Both the food and the service was excellent.

The buffet layout is very poor and the table cleansing was a disgrace. Each table having a casual wipe over with the same cloth throughout. What it needed was a bucket of hot water and a scourer to get all the grime off!! Read more
