It was originally scheduled as a 7 night Eastern Caribbean to St Croix, Tortola and Coco Cay RT from Ft Lauderdale. Because of the hurricane the Adventure of the Seas was re-deployed from Ft Lauderdale to Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico and Perfect Day Coco Cay, Bahamas. I cannot say enough good about Global Airport Parking, we've been using them for all 4 main Florida ports and they all have been excellent with low prices.

Check in was painless and we were walking down the gangway early for our 11:30 check in and stopped at our Muster Station prior to a delightful Welcome Aboard lunch in the Windjammer. The food throughout the cruise in the Windjammer had a great selection and was tasty. It became busy so if you can try to arrive as soon as it opens, however we could always find a table. In the morning head to the ordering area for the made to order omelette's when you arrive, find a table and then go to the buffet, this way it ensures your food will remain hot on your plate instead of carrying it around while you are looking for a table. The service and clean up was attentive, unfortunately some passengers remain at their tables after they are finished. As a common courtesy we always leave after we are finished as there are many other areas to enjoy. Food in the MDR was always served at the correct temperature and our Waiter Harry was super fast and our Assistant waiter Alam made sure our bread and water was replaced quickly. No complaints on any of the food. They were happy to serve us 2 appetizers each evening and 3 if we wanted. Johnny Rockets, Giovanni's and Chop's Grille were also excellent, service friendly and prompt, food delicious and worth the cover charge. We also enjoyed Cafe Promenade for morning baked goods, coffee and evening pizza which was delicious as well.

The ship was very well maintained and main public areas such as the Lyric Theater, Sapphire Dining Room, Library, Imperial Lounge, Blue Moon Viking Crown Lounge, Bolero's all appeared fresh and brand new. Our interior stateroom on Deck ten aft was spacious for the three of us, clean and very well kept by our very friendly and helpful stateroom attendant Joel.

Cabin Review

Interior Accessible

Stateroom deck 10 aft was very spacious for the 3 of us, bathroom well lit, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Closet space adequate and the room well maintained by our super efficient Stateroom Attendant Joel. We used it only for sleeping and cleaning up. If you are going to spend alot of time in your stateroom I would recommend an ocean view or balcony, however for us it proved perfect for sleep and was very quiet.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We did the Atlantis Submarine tour and absolutely loved it, I look forward to doing more of these in ports which have them.
