This ships is the pits, if this is a new concept for NCL, then they have got it drastically WRONG. The cabins, food and beverages where fine, but the service in the restaurants and bars left a LOT to be desired. A lack of staff and poor IT systems just lead to frustration and delay, wrong orders, etc. Far to much commercial space such as shopping, casino, pay per use dining, VR studio, go cart track and Haven suite space. Large expanse of outside seating, which is well suited to warmer climates. However a serious lack of pool and hot tubs space, for a ship of this size. The theatre/ club area seemed to be be under used, with no ships company shows and only solests with recorded backing music, which seemed very under professional performances. The inroom IT and phone APP, systems seemed to be OK for booking over expensive excursions, However you could not order food room service, you had to ring or leave a card on your door for any breakfast itesm. The phone you could not order drinks to you table or join a virtual queue for any of the restaurants. They still rely of bleepers, very 70;s, LOL This meant a lot of walking around to check which venue was available, which on the older smaller ships they did used to have. Finally customer services, don't get me started, in one word 'CRAP', not very well trained, some didn't seem to give damn. All in all totally dysfunctional and in some ways quite laughable for a company this size. I would NOT recommend this ship to ANYONE, who has ever sailed with NCL before or in fact ANYONE AT ALL. The overall design of the ship it is very obvious that it has been designed by a team who has little or no knowledge of how work spaces interlink or how traffic flows around a cruise ship, particularly a ship of this size.
