This was our first cruise/holiday in the post covid world. The experience with MSC was so bad and disappointing in every way that it has put us off ever doing another cruise with any cruise line.

It seem that MSC’s bean counters have worked out how to strip as much expense out of their cruises - from the ports, food, entertainment and facilities offered on board. I have given the following feedback to MSC on board and in their survey, but have never been contacted by them, so I wonder if the feedback survey is merely a PR excercise?

Cabin Review

Balcony Aurea

Adequate - nothing special. Poesia is old and tired. Balcony cabin is a good investment.

Port Reviews

Akureyri

Charming port with plenty to see

Prince Christian Sound

Very scenic. You will see a number of glaciers as you traverse this
