Sail Date: Sep 2023
Cabin: Balcony

We chose this cruise because it was the newest Ship, the itinerary (ports of call), and the feed back we got from people that sailed on other NCL ships including the Prima. What a waste of money..... It was a premium price to be on this ship compared to any others during the time including other NCL ships doing an Eastern Mediterranean route. We could have booked a similar trip on Celebrity in the Retreat for what we paid for a Balcony here.

1st off, the Internet was beyond useable even with the upgraded package. Thought I got a refund, but NCL put it in a non-refundable shipboard credit, which I didn't learn about until after getting off the ship.

Booked one shore excursion with NCL, didn't follow the itinerary.... We were supposed to do House of the Virgin Mary, and Ephesus, then stoping back in Kusadasi, Turkey for an optional rug lecture (or you could go explore the town before boarding the ship). Instead we got a very rushed tour of Ephesus, a fair amount of time at the House of the Virgin Mary, and then taken to a Leather store where we had to watch a fashion show, and be shown knock off luxury brand jackets and then rush back to the ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin experience: Bed, not comfortable at all....

Sound.... great sound proofing from the couldn't even hear the general announcements with the door closed... but terrible from the room next door, and above. Heard every footstep from above, and heard horrendous snoring from next door overnight.

Bathroom, was nice

Closet was nice

Athens (Piraeus)

Nice city, you need more than one day here to really experience it.
