We have taken 2 ocean cruises in the past. We didn't know what to expect on a river cruise. We had never heard of Scenic before. We booked the Charming Castles and Vineyards and will never travel with any other cruise line but Scenic. They exceeded our expectations. When they say luxury, they mean it. They also say to leave your wallet at home because you won't need to pay for anything extra. That's true as well. You may pay a bit more up front but they include everything from unlimited gourmet meals, drinks including premium brands, excursions (and plenty of choice), ebikes, butler service, gratuities and more.

We spoke with many passengers who had booked with other cruise lines. They said that Scenic was by far the best especially when it comes to the quality of the food. Amazing!!!! They also said that you may not pay as much with other cruise lines, up front, but by the time you pay for everything, it comes out to about he some or more with other companies.

As for the staff on the ship, I don't even kow where to begin. Exceptional!!!!!! very friendly, they go out of their way to make the trip unforgettable, they knew our name front the moment we stepped on board. Read more
