Belonged to a group who decided to put together a cruise to Bermuda. Hadn’t been there in years and wanted to go there again. Was disappointed when , due to a hurricane, the itinerary changed. We understood the reasoning , for our safety, but was very disappointed. Instead of getting to Bermuda, first at 8am and leaving the next day at 3:30, we went there last. Got there 5pm. Left next day at 4:30. No time for sight seeing the first day. Thankfully a few shops offered to stay open till 8pm.
Getting on was easy. Had to wait till 1pm for room to be ready.( standard procedure). Room, when ready, was clean and in the usual condition. Plenty of storage space. Had only one pair of plug ins at main desk. No other place to plug anything in. Standard size bathroom. Several times when using hot water in sink. Hot water would sputter and shoot out brown rusty water. Shower,though, was ok. Waited for luggage. Not put out by door like they usually do. Several pieces of luggage was dumped by our door. Was dropped, also at ends of hall ways. Three of us, spent 30 minutes running up and down the hall, delivering our groups luggage to the right rooms. I have been on many cruises on Royal, and never had this done before.
Service, when needed, was great. They worked hard, to help you.
