We mostly chose this cruise for the amazing itinerary. Iceland, Norway, Shetland Islands, Amsterdam and Bruges Belgium which did not disappoint. The crew was absolutely amazing, they just couldn’t do enough for us and we’re always asking if there was anything else we needed or wanted. Many knew our names a drink preferences by the third day. We were treated like royalty. Voyager is 23 years old and showing her age. Unfortunately she will not be refurbished until 2025. Our Penthouse suite was spacious but in desperate need of an update, especially the bathroom. The food onboard was mostly good, but we thought it definitely had declined since our cruise on Explorer last year. Entertainment was fair. Only one decent guest entertainer and the singers and dancers were good. Many senior officers were visible and friendly although we never saw the Captain once during the two weeks. Can’t remember this ever happening in over 100 cruises. Will definitely be returning to Regent in the future.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

Penthouse A was spacious but very dated. The bathroom needs a serious update with only one sink and a very small shower. The beds on Regent are amazing, super comfortable. Balcony was extremely small for a penthouse but this is a 20+ year old ship.

Port Reviews

Alesund

We had a great day in Alesund. Such an enjoyable city and so easy to walk around on your own. We started off by taking the 80 minute city sightseeing train. It leaves right from the port and gives a great overview of the city with a 15 minute stop at the top of mount Aksla for an amazing view of the city.
