This cruise was just me and my wife. I was surprised how many couples with out children were on the ship. Had a few complaining why aren’t these kids in school they didn’t understand it was Labor Day so if the children were in school they would only miss 4 days and seeing other part of the world is better that what they would have learn that week. We booked the cruise through Disney no problems always easy to deal with. We took the Disney bus from the airport left on first bus at 9:30 was on the ship by 11:15 went to get lunch the quality of food was not as good as the last time in 2018 the shrimp cocktail was outstanding the other options were just so so. The dinner the first night wasn’t good we had prime rib and it was tough. The rest of the dinners were great. The service is what you expect on the Disney Cruise. We had a baloney always kept clean the sea was rough the first 2 days but that’s not Disneys fault. We had 2 sea days I know it’s a family theme cruise I thought the things for adults weren’t satisfying unless you were into drinking with their tastings. Spent the sea days relaxing. We didn’t do anything in the ports just walked around the stores the locals were very nice and friendly. Was told this is their slow season that 2-3 ships per week until November-March that’s why some stores were closed. It was very very hot and humid. The live broadway style shows were wonderful. They changed it up since our last cruise in 2018. We had an engine go out on our last sea day so we missed their private island it was a bummer as I really like it last time. I did notice the ship had stopped for about 10 min before we started on our journey. Disney gave every cabin $250 credit and 25% of a future cruise that must be takin with 24 months I thought it was very nice to do that. I think the photo package is well worth it if you take advantage of them taking before or after dinner and when meeting the characters. We are from a major city and didn’t think the cocktails we out of line from what we spent at a local restaurant. Overall people were friendly to chat with and learn were they lived. I never saw or heard any arguing or any drunk people. Chairs around the pool weren’t hard to get unless you were in the adult area.

Now the things I have learned from a Disney Cruise while sitting in the pool or hot tub don’t say anything negative about cruising on Disney. I had said I miss the Mickey bar from room service and the mini buffet that they offered on Pirate night. Well I must have something wrong as people stop talking with me and slowly exit the pool. I also said wish the entertainment would have changed since 2018 had the same acts other cruises I’ve been on they would have people come aboard from ports for a show we have taken 6 cruises in the pass on 3 cruise lines including Disney same ports as we like doing something different each time and on the other lines the entertainment had change. I know the broadway shows would be the same but they had changed the story line. Plus they added Frozen and it was real good. I said wish the quick service places would stay open pass midnight we are disabled and takes time to get to deck 11 when a show ends at 11:30 well a person said either order room service or don’t go to the show(rude) told them didn’t want to wait 45 min for room service. The children on the cruise were very well behaved the first 4 days after that the parents really didn’t care what they did at 2 am had teenagers running and pounding on the doors. There is no matters by the elevators as the doors open you couldn’t get off as people were standing right in front of the door. Wish they had a few more Ella toes hopefully on the new ship they do 6 is not enough in the main lobby at the end of shows or seeing the characters The last night a person in a wheelchair was getting off I was holding the door and she ran over my foot and said I shouldn’t have been the way. Told her I was making sure the door would not close. Would we cruise again on Disney yes but go to different ports. I don’t think I could do Disney every year as I met people that do. Service is great and staff is very professional just don’t know if paying 2 times the cost of a different cruise line is worth it.
