Cabin: Ocean View

A drawback on this cruise was the high temperature in Italy. But I don´t blame Celebrity. Our experience is 12 weeks, 8 ships from 5 different companies. First time without balcony. I think this was the oldest ship we have been on. But we are much older, so we felt at home. Free parking in Ravenna, and smooth embarkation. What surprised us most was the amount of staff, everywhere. In level with Oceania. Our cabin, large porthole was not large, but as always in cruise ships, had very smart design. Only disadvantage was a sofa for only 1½ person. A bad odor from the shower drain disappeared after one day. I think the ship was quite filled up, but never felt crowded. I did not like that many egoistic passengers "reserved" the plentiful sunbeds around the pool. Then use them very sparse. The shows in the theatre was the poorest we have seen in a ship. But artists on smaller scenes were often very good. We tried mojito one night. Was there any rum there? I doubt. No more drinks for us. Food in the dining room and the buffét was better than expected. Only Oceania served the same class.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

I think this was the smallest cabin we have trevelled in, but it did not felt cramped. had a forward facing (small) sofa beside the window. Long walk to nearest elevator.
