I have been on at least 7 Carnival cruises. We picked the Valor as my boyfriend has family in the New Orleans area and we were looking for a cruise out of this port. We took a 4 day cruise with one port of call in Cozumel. We had been on the Glory before which left out of NOLA and I believe is the same size ship. Here's my take on the ship/cruise:
Pros: This port is super easy to get in and out of and quick
Embarkation and Debarkation was quick.
Cabin Review
We had a casino offer for a suite. The room was great. I loved the jetted tub.
