We chose this cruise as we’d cruised with MSc 9 times before and been on this boat before. We also chose it because of the stops.

The boat is very tatty and needs a re fit. Our balcony was unavailable 2 days of the cruise due to maintenance. Cleanliness on board is non existent. People walk into buffet restaurants in bathers bare foot and in damp towels and aren’t challenged. Pointless having hand sanitizer as no one uses it. Dress code doesn’t exist in main restaurant especially on formal nights where passengers came in wearing ripped shorts t shirts and flip flops. The passengers regularly changed table during the sitting!!! Singers in the bars sounded as though they were singing karaoke and were painful to listen to. This cruise has actually put us off cruising as we had such a bad experience. We both came back home ill and having cruised four times in the last 4 years with MSc and other companies this came as a shock. We’ve cruised with celebrity, royal Caribbean, p and o and also tui so we’re very disappointed.

Cabin Review

We had an Aurea balcony cabin which wasn’t worth paying the extra money for. It was small and tatty and the balcony was unavailable to use for two days due to painting and other maintenance I had two men on a crane staring into our cabin one day!!
