I booked this cruise because it was a “no fly” cruise from Amsterdam and the Norway landscape was on my “must see” list.
Furthermore Holland America had a lot of promotions because of their “150 years of Sailing” celebration with the “Have it all” package. This included basic WiFi, beverages, including alcohol, specialty dining, a shore excursion budget of 100 dollar per person and 25 dollar on board spending budget per person.
Ports of call were Oslo, Kristiansand, Lervik and Flåm.
Small but usefull. Enough space for all your things, crip clean and nice shower. Good bed and big TV with movie channels, News and a channel with your personal information.
Cruise Port is so close to all the sightseeing options. Amsterdam has so much to offer and a lot is close to the cruise Port. Canal cruises, museums, City center, shops, it is all within walking distance or reachable with a short ride on a rental bike.
The cruise ship is docked between high fjord walls. Flåm has beautiful nature, the world famous Flamsbana train starting point is in walking distance. All kind of nature excursions are possible with Flam as departure point.
