Traveled with children

We travelled as a family on the Viva on its 2nd ever cruise. Overall we had a fabulous trip with very little to complain about. Our favourites things about the ship were Syd Normans, the outdoor area on Deck 8, especially the infinity pools, Hudsons Dining Room , the Indulge Food Hall, the Observation Lounge and the kids club. Areas that were less to our taste were the main pool deck area and the Galaxy Pavillion.

Embarkation: Lisbon is one of our favourite European cities, the ship was docked very close to the city centre and we were onboard less than 10 minutes after getting out of our Uber. We always travel with 10kg bags so we carry them on ourselves and it was very easy.

We stayed in a family balcony room. It was a lovely room and the bathroom was very spacious. Our 2 kids are teens so it was pretty tight for 4. Luckily we are a pretty close knit family but by the last night we were ready for our own space again.

Cabin Review

Great cabin with a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage
