Sail Date: Jul 2023
Cabin: Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

After much research, we chose Oceania to cruise Alaska for many reasons: the size of the ship to allow closer viewing of glaciers and inside passage cruising, crew to passenger ratio, refurbished interior design of the cabin and public spaces, specialty restaurants and overall dining, promise of cuisine excellence, gym, spa, and other amenities.

In reading some of the negative reviews posted prior to our sail date, I did have some concerns about whether we had made the right choice in selecting Oceana. From the moment we arrived at the cruise terminal in Seattle, we embarked on a journey and cruise experience like no other. Our time on the Regatta exceeded our expectations. The crew and staff are absolutely phenomenal; they genuinely go out of their way to provide exceptional service. Our cabin stewards, August and Anthony, could not do enough for us; they were amazing, and we looked forward to seeing them each day. They took care of all our cabin needs, keeping it thoroughly clean, well stocked with towels and water etc.

We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the ship, it is impeccable and beautifully appointed. Although the ship was full, it did not seem crowded. When in port, disembarking and embarking was a breeze and very organized.

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin is more spacious than expected with ample storage, lots of drawers and hanging space. Bed was amazingly comfortable, one of the best we have ever slept on! We also loved the balcony.

The design, decor and layout of the cabin is very tasteful, inviting and functional, the compact space met all of our needs, we never felt cramped. The bathroom is small but adequate. Double shower doors open out for more room when drying off, the water pressure was excellent. The only thing I missed was a magnified mirror for putting on makeup and an automatic coffee maker :)

Cabin is extremely quiet, we did not hear any noise from the cabins next to us which were both occupied. The location of our cabin was ideal, close to stairs/elevator and laundry room.

TV, A/C all worked great. Ships intercom/speaker was hard to hear with door closed.
