We wanted to celebrate a late 50th anniversary (3years late). From the moment that Viking rep Leonardo began to help us last year, the process was easy. Because of limited mobility for my husband, Leonardo went over and beyond to help us with cabin suggestions, and other help. He was amazing. We were in the best location for being near the elevator and the restaurant. We wanted a veranda and Leonardo said that was a great way to relax if we didn't want to do a tour.

Even though the weather was cool and damp for August, the cruise portion was beautiful. Andy, the Program Director, made special accommodations for passengers with limited mobility in a more leisurely tour group. It could still be too active for some. However, the guides were really informative and had a real love of history and their towns. Anyone interested in history would appreciate having the perspective of the locals.

We met some really nice passengers from Canada, Scotland, England and all over the USA. It made for interesting and lively discussions on the world and how we are different and yet alike in so many ways. Made lifelong friends.

Cabin Review

The stateroom with a veranda was just right for us.
