I have cruised dozens of times, but this was my first river cruise and I decided to sail down the Rhine River Cruise with some friends. It was the first time for all three of us and we were literally blown away with the whole experience. The Amadeus Cara is a brand new 5-star ship and she is a beauty! From the moment you enter on board with a big welcome from the staff, you know you are in for a treat! The beautiful cabins are just the perfect size with a walk in closet to organize your clothes. Attention to detail is all over the ship and the group function space was perfect! From the entertainment to the the layout of the ship, the ports of call, the outstanding staff, the tranquil calm and relaxing waters, this trip and the excursions were excellent - Oh, and did I mention the food? It was literally absolutely exquisite dining and with three meals a day, not one dish was repeated! - Put all the factors together and it was a complete home run!
