What started on an innocent sunny day in August turned out to be an adventure we will always remember. Despite being impacted by (2) Hurricanes, the fires in Maui, and multiple medical emergencies, the Princess Staff and Officers rallied to help us all make the best experiences possible. The weather to Hawaii was hot and sunny, which was really nice. The last minute decision to reroute to Kona was a good one, and most everyone I encountered enjoyed their excursions.
The Captain was amazing and managed to get the ship back into Los Angeles (a day early) about 6 hours before Hurricane Hillary was due to arrive. Alot of people were able to get home before the worst weather hit. Thank you for that!!
I would especially like to commend the staff, especially our room steward Brando, our Vines sommelier Marcel, and our International Cafe goddess Leydi, who greeted us with a smile and a positive attitude every morning, while making sure that our vanilla iced Chai's were made to perfection. Thank you to the staff for making us feel respected, and valued princess customers.
We had a great aft facing room with a nice balcony. The three of us were quite messy but our room steward Brando, always made the room look brand new, and was pleasant and helpful in resolving a couple minor emergencies.
