We chose it because it was a smaller, more intimate ship, and guests were mainly from France, Spain and the UK which made for a better experience. Our Cruise Director, Jose was extremely attentive and helpful, as was our English speaking ( and indeed multi lingual guide ) Sarah, both of whom made the whole cruise a delight. All the crew were friendly and polite and the waiters and waitresses were very efficient and friendly. Our cabin was kept spotless and had good aircon and heating, if required. All our shore excursions were very well organised and ran to time. There were a couple of evening quizzes and amusing folk evenings, and the regular musical entertainment was provided quietly and professionally by a very talented guitar player with backing accompaniment. Sarah also provided regular dance disco music on request.
The food was of typical French high standard and the chefs would prepare food to individual taste as required.
We have been on bigger cruise ships but felt lost among so many guests but this one was just right.
Our cabin had enough space for us and storage space for our clothing. The aircon and heating (if required) was very efficient, and we always had hot water. The TV had all the channels we needed and the free WiFi was a bonus.
The staff kept our cabin spotless, as was all the public ares.
