First of all, I did a YouTube review video of the ship, entertainment and food. If interested, type in "2023 Grand Princess full ship tour and V-log review - what I loved about the ship."

I had been on the ship 20 years ago and was aware this is the oldest ship in the fleet. I was shocked when we boarded as the ship looked brand new. Everywhere we walked on the ship, I could not find any defects.

We booked the "Reserve Collection" (used to be called Club Class) and it was great. Our private dining area was great with super fast service, and I mean fast. They have a special menu with extra items you can get like Lobster Thermador, etc. The Executive Chef on this ship is great and we cannot say enough about the food. This is coming from someone who has been on 65+ cruises. The buffet was excellent for lunch and dinner and breakfast was just okay- nothing to write home about.

Cabin Review

We had the mini suite with balcony. Great bedding as usual, plenty of room, tub and shower in the large bathroom. Good size balcony, two flat screen televisions and nice seating area. The room was perfect.
