I was hoping that after 10 years that this ship would have been given a spruce up and a refurbishment with the bland Scandi decor. A King bed split for King singles into twin share would have been a better size than a Queen bed but I suppose that would leave no room at all for a bedside table. The cost of the river cruises are alot more than the ocean cruises and considering Viking have a large fleet it is important that they all stay fresh especially the older ships like the Alsvin.

For more mature 'on the larger' side passenger a squashy cabin to sleep is difficult. Everything else was excellent though.
