Sail Date: Jul 2023

This was our second cruise on Silversea. We initially chose Silversea primarily due to ship size. Our last cruise was on the Silver Shadow with approx 370 passengers. The Silver Dawn is slightly larger at approx 580 passengers. We had no interest in the 2000 to 4000 passenger floating cities.

Embarkation was easy and took about 30 minutes. All rooms were ready and upon entering we immediately met our butler who was very nice and seemed eager to be of any assistance. The ship layout is similar on most Silversea vessels so easy to get acclimated and find out where everything is located. We had booked all our dining and excursions as soon as reservations opened so little to do other than unpack and head for the lounge.

Dining options consist of the following (all no charge except where noted):

Cabin Review

Classic Veranda cabin. This is similar in all Silverseas ships. Very comfortable with lots of storage space. Very comfortable bed with a choice of pillow preference. Always maintained in immaculate condition and updated at least twice a day. Nice size balcony with comfortable furniture. In suite TV and info system easy to access and worked without a problem. Excellent bath with an adequate sized shower. Only one sink in the vanity however.
