We wanted to see the Norwegian Coastline during the winter season and also the Northern lights.. This cruise didn't disappoint us. We took the Richard With from Bergen to Kirkenes. It was a stunning trip
Mountains covered in ice, villages dotted along the coastline half submerged in ice. Constant snow falling.
It was so magical. We had a Mini suite with a full window. we could lie in bed and open the curtain looking for the northern lights when the alarms sounded. The food was sourced from the local towns we dropped into and mainly consisted of deer meat, fish, so many different kinds and cooked all different ways, different cheeses and freshly baked bread. even caviar. The desserts were mouth watering. There was also chicken, port and beef. We have never eaten so much, we had to try everything.
Plenty of room. I travelled with my husband. Our seating area was separated from the Bed with a huge TV between. Our bathroom was was larger than normal. A very cosy room but large enough to be comfortable.
Tromso was very impressive with its huge Cathedral. We had a lot of time to walk from the ship to the cathedral and look around before walking back to the ship.
